You might have heard that Jens Voigt crashed in today’s stage (16) of the Tour de France. From “Little Known Facts About Jens Voigt” we know that Jens is as tough as they come, but crashing in a bike race is no fun.
Let’s hope that Jens is OK and has a speedy recovery.

Even though this was an exciting stage today, I am more concerned about Jens Voigt’s condition
after crashing. He is truly the tough man of cycling and I hope that his injuries are minor.
I’m just glad he’s alive. When I saw it, I thought he was dead.

Jens has been a consistently good rider in the mountains. It looks like he broke his fall with his face. He broke his cheek bone and had a concussion. He was far luckier than Beloki was with a broken femur a few years ago.
